one in a million
At one point, we may have heard, or even personally felt, some of the following….
“I’m not really excited for Ramadan this year”
“Everyone else talks about feeling amazing and every year, I just.... don’t.”
“I don’t really enjoy fasting”
“I just count down the hours to iftar”
“I feel tired”
“Last year, I didn’t fast every day”

A prevalent emotion in our time is lack of excitement for Ramaḍān. For many, it is a struggle, especially if they are going to school / college or even work, and have deadlines to meet. These emotions may be buried away and not voiced.

The sessions are open to all women. Priority for participation is given to young women (teenagers/university students), but anyone is welcome to listen in. Mothers joined with their daughters last year.
It may be an idea to share this with young women — nieces, cousins or younger siblings. Suitable for girls 11+

A brilliant resource is Menstrual Matters by WhiteThread Press. They have many qualified female teachers who can take questions. :)
